ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Jamie Lewis scored two goals and set up one more as the Brampton Battalion edged the host Niagara IceDogs 6-5 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Barclay Goodrow had a goal and an assist for the Battalion (13-11-5), who won for the first time in four outings, while Brandon Robinson, Patrik Machac and Nick Paul each scored once.
Ryan Strome led the IceDogs (18-10-2) with two goals and an assist as Steven Shipley and Brett Ritchie had a goal and an assist apiece.
Carter Verhaeghe added a single goal to round out Niagara's offence.
Matej Machovsky stopped 37 shots for the win as Christopher Festarini turned aside 27 shots in a losing cause.
Neither club could score on the power play as they both went 0 for 3 with the man advanatge.
