Winther and Bardaro each score twice as the Raiders beat the Pats

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Mike Winther scored two goals and added an assist as the Prince Albert Raiders downed the visiting Regina Pats 5-3 in Western Hockey League action on Friday night.

Anthony Bardaro also scored two goals for the Raiders (19-8-2), and Leon Draisaitl added a single goal.

Alex Theriau scored twice for the Pats (11-14-3) and Adam Brooks had a goal and an assist.

Luke Siemens turned away 11-of-14 shots for the win as Matt Hewitt stopped 48 shots in a losing cause.

Both teams struck on the power play as Prince Albert went 2-for-6, and Regina 2-for-5.

If you want to prove people wrong, you've just got to go out and do it. Yeah, we blew 3-2 series leads the last two years, but no one is going remember that if we go out there on Saturday night and beat these guys and go play in the Stanley Cup Final.
