PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Stefan Noesen scored two goals as the Plymouth Whalers downed the visiting Ottawa 67's 4-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Tom Wilson had a goal and an assist for the Whalers (14-8-4), who lead the West Division, while Matthew Mistele chipped in with two assists.

Ryan Hartman added a single goal to round out Plymouth's offence.

Dante Salituro scored the lone goal for the 67's (7-19-2), who are winless in their last four outings.

Plymouth went 1-for-2 on the power play while Ottawa failed to score on either of its chances with the man advantage.

Quote of the Day

He's, believe it or not, actually one of my favorite guys, and I've ended up trading him twice. I appreciate what he's done. He was one year away from being an unrestricted free agent, and I felt with this opportunity, that it was a chance that we were able to get somebody for him in Nick Bonino and Adam Clendening.
