Alex Fontinos makes 28 saves as Barrie Colts beat Windsor Spitfires 4-2

WINDSOR, Ont. - Alex Fontinos made 28 saves as the Barrie Colts defeated the Windsor Spitfires 4-2 in Ontario Hockey League play Thursday.

Justin Scott, with the first of his Ontario Hockey League career, and Steven Beyers both scored in the last three minutes of the first period to open the scoring and put the Colts up 2-0.

Andreas Athanasiou added another for the Colts (19-7-1) lead to 3-0 with his 13th goal of the season in the second, and Mark Scheifele's 21st of the season came shorthanded into an empty net to round out the scoring.

Brady Vail, on a short-handed effort, and Adam Bateman, with his first of the season, scored for Windsor (10-12-5) in the third but the Spitfires couldn't find the equalizer.

Jaroslav Pavelka made 31 saves for the Spitfires, who lost for the sixth time in their last seven games.
