KELOWNA, B.C. - Dylen McKinlay snapped a 2-2 tie in the second period, and set up a pair of first period goals by Myles Bell, to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 3-2 win over the Tri-City Americans in Western Hockey League play Wednesday.
Bell opened the scoring at the 1:37 mark, and he made it 2-0 Rockets at 7:30.
Connor Rankin narrowed the margin with a power play goal at 10:53, and Drydn Dow tied it for the Americans at 19:09 of the opening period.
Jordan Cooke made 25 saves for the Rockets (16-8-2) and Eric Comrie made 20 saves for Tri-City (16-9-2).
