Bartosak makes 42 saves, Bleackley scores winner in SO as Rebels edge Warriors 2-1

RED DEER, Alta. - Patrik Bartosak stopped 42 shots as the Red Deer Rebels edged the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Conner Bleackley scored the shootout winner for the Rebels (15-11-2), who have won five straight games, while Matthew Dumba scored in regulation.

Justin Kirsch scored the lone goal for the Warriors (8-11-7), who are winless in their last four outings.

Daniel Wapple stopped 27-of-28 shots in a losing cause.

Red Deer went 1-for-2 on the power play while Moose Jaw failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
