The 18-year-old forward now has 15 goals in 26 games, which leads his club in scoring.
Brock McGinn had a goal and two assists for the Storm (15-8-3), who have earned at least one point in five straight games, while Andrey Pedan and Brock Beukeboom each chipped in with an assist.
Hayden Hodgson and Connor McDavid scored for the Otters (7-14-4), who have dropped back-to-back contests and sit last in the Midwest Division.
McDavid's goal was his 14th of the season, which leads all rookies in scoring.
Garret Sparks made 32 saves for his 14th win of the season as Oscar Dansk turned away 37 shots in a losing cause.
Guelph went 1-for-6 on the power play while Erie failed to score on six chances with the man advantage.
