Barclay Goodrow's hat trick lifts Brampton Battalion over Barrie Colts 3-2

BARRIE, Ont. - Barclay Goodrow scored a natural hat trick to lead the Brampton Battalion to a 3-2 victory over the Barrie Colts in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.

Dylan Blujus added a pair of assists for Brampton (12-8-5), which won its sixth game in a row.

Goodrow extended his goal-scoring streak to six games, with nine goals over that span.

Anthony Camara and Ryan O'Connor replied for Barrie (17-7-1).

Both Camara and Goodrow, at 18 goals apiece, moved into a tie for third in OHL scoring.

Both teams found success on the man advantage.

The Battalion ended up going 1-for-2 on the power play. Barrie finished the night at 1-for-7.

Brampton's Matej Machovsky turned aside 37 shots for the win.

Colts goaltender Mathias Niederberger made 10 of 12 saves before being lifted in favour of Alex Fotinos, who stopped all but one of the 11 shots he faced.
