Sheen, Delnov four points apiece as the Thunderbirds beat the Ice 7-4

KENT, Wash. - Riley Sheen and Alexander Delnov each had a goal and three assists as the Seattle Thunderbirds downed the visiting Kootenay Ice 7-4 on Wednesday in Western Hockey League play.

Luke Lockhart scored twice for the Thunderbirds (11-11-1), Justin Hickman had a goal and two assists and Connor Honey and Roberts Lipsbergs each had a goal and an assist.

Jordyn Boyd scored two goals for the Ice (7-13-1) while Jakub Prochazka and Zach McPhee had the others.

Brandon Glover made 36 saves for the win as Mackenzie Skapski turned away 26 shots in a losing cause.

Seattle went 1-for-3 on the power play while Kootenay failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
