OSHAWA, Ont. - Josh Burnside scored twice, including the game winner, as the Mississauga Steelheads downed the host Oshawa Generals 5-3 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.

After finding himself alone in front of Oshawa's net, Burnside beat goaltender Daniel Altshuller five-hole with a backhand at 12:42 of the third period to put his club ahead 4-3.

Andrew Goldberg scored a single goal to round out Mississauga's scoring.

Boone Jenner scored twice for the Generals (12-10-3) and Trevor Morbeck scored the other.

Quote of the Day

Obviously a lot happened in a short period of time. At the end of the day, considering everything I went through, I really felt close to my teammates and I really feel like what we accomplished, I know we didn't win it all. ... I'm really proud of how we got there and what we did once we got there.
