KENT, Wash. - Todd Fiddler scored all three of his club's goals as the Spokane Chiefs downed the host Seattle Thunderbirds 3-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Eric Williams made 34 saves in goal for the Chiefs (15-7-0).

Roberts Lipsbergs scored the lone goal for the Thunderbirds (10-11-1) and Brandon Glover stopped 31-of-33 shots in a losing cause.

Spokane went 0-for-3 on the power play while Seattle failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.

Quote of the Day

Obviously a lot happened in a short period of time. At the end of the day, considering everything I went through, I really felt close to my teammates and I really feel like what we accomplished, I know we didn't win it all. ... I'm really proud of how we got there and what we did once we got there.
