Harper scores winner as the Otters down the Storm 3-2

ERIE, Pa. - Stephen Harper scored the winner in the shootout as the Erie Otters edged the visiting Guelph Storm 3-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

J.P. Labardo and Jimmy McDowell scored in regulation for the Otters (7-13-3) as Connor McDavid assisted on both.

Robby Fabbri and Brock McGinn each scored for the Storm (13-8-3) and Cody McNaughton chipped in with two assists.

Oscar Dansk stopped 47-of-49 shots for the win as Garret Sparks made 27 saves in a losing cause.

Erie went 2-for-6 on the power play while Guelph went 0-for-5.
