Draisaitl scores twice as the Raiders beat the Hurricanes 3-2

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Leon Draisaitl scored twice as the Prince Albert Raiders edged the host Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Logan McVeigh scored the winning goal for the Raiders (14-6-2) at 2:03 of the third period.

Russell Maxwell and Jaimen Yakubowski scored for the Hurricanes (13-9-2).

Luke Siemens made 23 saves for the win as Ty Rimmer turned away 29-of-32 shots in a losing cause.

Prince Albert went 0-for-3 on the power play while Lethbridge failed to score with four chances on the man advantage.
