Merkley scores 2, Rimmer makes 34 saves as Hurricanes down Warriors

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Jay Merkley scored twice and Ty Rimmer made 34 saves as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-1 in Western Hockey League action Monday afternoon.

Brady Ramsay and Daniel Johnston also scored as Lethbridge (13-8-2) took a 4-0 lead.

Bryson Gore scored the only goal for the Warriors (8-9-6).

Justin Paulic made 19 saves for Moose Jaw.
