Paulic makes 25 saves as the Warriors beat the Ice 4-1

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Justin Paulic stopped 25 shots as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the host Kootenay Ice 4-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Kirk Johnson, Justin Kirsch, Brandon Potomak and Joel Edmundson each scored for the Warriors (8-8-6), who snapped a seven-game losing streak, while Sam Fioretti chipped in with two assists.

Zach McPhee scored the lone goal for the Ice (4-12-1), who have dropped eight straight contests.

Mackenzie Skapski took the loss after allowing four goals on 14 shots through 30 minutes of action. Wyatt Hoflin stopped all nine shots he faced in relief.

Moose Jaw went 2-for-6 on the power play while Kootenay failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
