SASKATOON - Alexander Delnov scored twice as the Seattle Thunderbirds beat the host Saskatoon Blades 6-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Shea Theodore had a goal and two assists for the Thunderbirds (9-10-1) and Roberts Lipsbergs had a goal and an assist.
Connor Sanvido and Seth Swenson had a goal apiece to round out Seattle's offence.
Matt Revel and Lukas Sutter scored for the Blades (8-10-1).
Brandon Glover made 30 saves for the win while Andrey Makarov allowed five goals on 32 shots before getting pulled early in the third period. Alex Moodie stopped 7-of-8 shots in 15 minutes of relief.
Seattle went 2-for-5 on the power play while Saskatoon failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
