AUSTIN, Texas - Leo Komarov scored twice as the Toronto Marlies shut out the Texas Stars 3-0 in American Hockey League play Friday.

Ryan Hamilton also scored for Toronto (5-4-1), while backup goaltender Jussi Rynnas earned his second shutout in three starts this season.

Rynnas made 31 saves for the win, while Cristopher Nilstorp allowed all three goals on 17 shots for Texas (3-6-0).

Komarov scored in the first and second periods, while Hamilton capped the scoring 13:04 on a power play in the third.

Once again, it shows character in this dressing room. Once again, there's no quitting in here. We all wanted this so bad and we worked so hard to get home-ice advantage and we weren't going to let this one slide.
