GUELPH, Ont. - Alex Galchenyuk had a goal and an assist as the Sarnia Sting downed the host Guelph Storm 4-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Reid Boucher also had a goal and an assist for the Sting (11-7-1), who have won three straight games, as Alex Basso and Nikolay Goldobin added a single goal each.
Ryan Horvat and Zack Mitchell scored for the Storm (12-7-1).
JP Anderson stopped 30 shots for the win while Garret Sparks turned away 30-of-33 shots in a losing cause.
Sarnia went 1-for-4 on the power play while Guelph failed to score on either of its opportunities with the man advantage.
