BRAMPTON, Ont. - Daniel Catenacci scored a pair of goals, including the winner at 16:47 of the third period, as the Owen Sound Attack downed the host Brampton Battalion 5-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Kurtis Gabriel, Gemel Smith and Zach Nastasiuk rounded out the scoring for the Attack (13-3-3) while Nathan Chiarlitti chipped in with three assists.
Brendan Childerley, Matt MacLeod and Zach Bell scored for the Battalion (6-8-5), who sit fifth in the Eastern Conference's Central Division.
Brandon Hope stopped 23-of-26 shots for Owen Sound while Brampton goaltender Matej Machovsky turned aside 24-of-28 shots.
Owen Sound was 2-for-3 on the power play as Brampton capitalized on one of three opportunities with the man advantage.
