ERIE, Pa. - Connor Brown scored twice and set up two more as the Erie Otters downed the visiting Peterborough Petes 6-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Connor McDavid had two goals and an assist for the Otters (5-11-3), who halted their five-game losing streak, while Anthony Cortellessa and Adam Pelech scored a goal apiece.
Chase Hatcher, Greg Betzold and Alan Quine scored for the Petes (4-12-3), who have now dropped five straight contests.
Oscar Dansk stopped 41-of-44 shots for the win as Andrew D'Agostini allowed three goals on 13 shots before getting pulled early in the second period. Michael Giugovaz stopped 11-of-13 shots in relief.
Erie went 1-for-3 on the power play whiel Peterborough failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
