Goaltender Jackson Whistle earns shutout in Rockets 5-0 win over Cougars

KELOWNA, B.C. - Jackson Whistle made 21 saves as the Kelowna Rockets blanked the Prince George Cougars 5-0 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Tyrell Goulbourne scored just 2:17 into the first period and Kelowna (10-6-2) never looked back. Goulbourne also assisted on Tyson Baillie's goal. Cody Fowlie, Ryan Olsen and Rourke Chartier rounded out the Rockets' attack.

Mac Engel stopped 22 of 27 shots for Prince George (7-8-2) in 47:45 of work. Brett Zarowny stopped all eight shots he faced in relief.

Kelowna went 1-for-3 on the power play, while the Cougars were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
