Owen Sound Attack score 4 goals in third period to blast Erie Otters 6-1

ERIE, Pa. - Owen Sound turned a one-goal game into a rout in rapid-fire fashion.

The Attack scored four goals in a span of two minutes 50 seconds early in the third period to pull away to a 6-1 win against the reeling Erie Otters in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday.

Daniel Catenacci and Gemel Smith had a goal and two assists each for the Attack (12-2-2). The front-line duo combined for six goals and eight assists in the two-game sweep of the Otters.

Cameron Brace, Holden Cook, Gilbert Gabor and Kurtis MacDermid also scored for Owen Sound.

Connor Brown's second period goal was the lone score for Erie (4-10-3).

Owen Sound goaltender Brandon Hope made 21 saves, while at the other end Oscar Dansk stopped 36 shots.

I didn't think it would actually work, but it ended up working, so I'm thanking my lucky stars tonight.
