Guelph Storm score 4 straight goals in third period to beat Oshawa Generals 4-1

GUELPH, Ont. - The Guelph Storm exploded with four goals in the third period to beat the Oshawa Generals 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday.

Jason Dickinson scored a power-play goal 3:17 into the third before Matt Finn scored 31 seconds later to give Guelph a 2-1 lead.

Scott Kosmachuk added a power-play goal at 11:40 and Ryan Horvat scored into an empty net for the Storm (11-4-1).

Boone Jenner's second-period goal was all the offence Oshawa (10-6-2) could manage.

Quote of the Day

You don't see many. The [Drew] Doughtys, the [P.K.] Subbans, those are guys that create offense from the back and then on top of that ability, the size that he has. In the West you play against some pretty big players, and being able to clear the crease and contain the [Ryan] Getzlafs and the [Corey] Perrys and [Anze] Kopitars and players like that, we're excited about him going back there.
