ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Chris Festarini made 32 saves for his second shutout of the season as the Niagara IceDogs beat the Kitchener Rangers 2-0 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.
Ryan Strome scored his 10th goal of the season and added an assist on Brett Ritchie's empty-net goal as the IceDogs improved to 10-6-1.
Strome scored at 17:38 in the second period before Ritchie secured the win with just over a minute remaining in the third.
Kitchener goaltender John Gibson turned aside 25 shots as the Rangers fell to 8-5-2.
