KENT, Wash. - Colin Smith scored 25 seconds into overtime Sunday to lift the Kamloops Blazers to 4-3 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Western Hockey League

The win was the 11th in a row for Kamloops, which is 15-0-1 on the season.

The overtime loss ends a two-game winning streak for Seattle (7-5-1).

JC Lipon kept his WHL scoring lead with two goals for Kamloops. He now has 15 goals and 39 points for the Blazers. Smith, with his goal and an assist, now has 13 goals and 38 points. Sam Grist also scored for the Blazers.

Seattle, which led 2-0 in the second period, got goals from Connor Honey, Brendan Rouse and Shea Theodore.

The first period was scoreless, but Seattle had several big chances during a 5-on-3 power play that lasted nearly a minute.

Both teams scored three times in the second period before a scoreless third period sent the game to overtime.

Brandon Glover made 36 saves for Seattle, outshot 40-29 in the game.

Kamloops goaltender Taran Kozun improved to 5-0-1 on the season with 26 saves.

Once again, it shows character in this dressing room. Once again, there's no quitting in here. We all wanted this so bad and we worked so hard to get home-ice advantage and we weren't going to let this one slide.
