PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Mike Winther scored three times as the Prince Albert Raiders downed the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 5-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Josh Morrissey and Dakota Conroy each had a goal and an assist for the Raiders (9-4-2) while Leon Draisaitl chipped in with three assists.

Justin Kirsch scored the lone goal for the Warriors (7-6-2), who now sit four points behind Prince Albert for first in the East Division standings.

Luke Siemens made 27 saves for the win as Daniel Wapple stopped 25-of-30 shots in a losing cause.

Prince Albert went 0-for-2 on the power play while Moose Jaw went 1-for-4.

Once again, it shows character in this dressing room. Once again, there's no quitting in here. We all wanted this so bad and we worked so hard to get home-ice advantage and we weren't going to let this one slide.
