Bauml scores twice as the Silvertips beat the Chiefs 6-5

EVERETT, Wash. - Kohl Bauml scored twice as the Everett Silvertips edged the visiting Spokane Chiefs 6-5 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Ben Betker, Reid Petryk and Mirco Mueller each had a goal and an assist for the Silvertips (6-7-1), who have won four straight games, while Tyler Sandhu added a single goal.

Todd Fiddler had two goals and an assist for the Chiefs (9-5-0) while Reid Gow scored once and set up two more.

Dylan Walchuk and Connor Chartier each scored once to round out Spokane's offence.

Daniel Cotton made 29 saves for the win as Eric Williams allowed four goals on eight shots in 17 minutes of action. Garret Hughson made 16 saves in 43 minutes of relief, but picked up the loss.

Everett went 0-for-3 on the power play while Spokane went 0-for-2.
