Graovac with five points as the 67's beat the Frontenacs 8-6

KINGSTON, Ont. - Tyler Graovac scored three times and assisted on two others as the Ottawa 67's defeated the host Kingston Frontenacs 8-6 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Cody Ceci scored twice for the 67's (4-8-1) and Sean Monahan had a goal and three assists.

Taylor Davis and Taylor Fielding scored a goal apiece to round out Ottawa's offence.

Spencer Watson led the Frontenacs (5-7-0) offensively with two goals and an assist and Jean Dupuy and Mitchell Fitzmorris each had a goal and an assist.

Billy Jenkins and Henri Ikonen also scored for Kingston, which has now dropped four straight contests.

Keegan Wilson started in goal for Ottawa, but was pulled in the second period after allowing three goals on 16 shots.

Jacob Blair stopped 20-of-23 shots to earn the win while Colin Furlong stopped 35-of-42 shots in a losing effort.

The 67's were 2-for-3 on the power play while the Frontenacs failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
