MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Sam Babintsev scored his first career Ontario Hockey League goal and added an assist to lead the Mississauga Steelheads to a 5-1 win over the visiting Brampton Battalion on Friday night at the Hershey Centre.
Josh Burnside, Kristoff Kontos, Brett Foy and Damian Bourne also scored for the Steelheads (8-4-1), who have won six of their last seven games.
Dylan Blujus scored the lone goal for the Battalion (5-5-5) on a second-period power play.
Spencer Martin stopped 30 shots for the win as Matej Machovsky turned aside 24 shots in a losing cause.
Mississauga went 0-for-2 on the power play while Brampton finished 1-for-5.
