PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Brett Zarowny made 33 saves Wednesday as the Prince George Cougars defeated the Spokane Chiefs 4-2 in the Western Hockey League.

Marc McNulty, Alex Forsberg, Brett Roulston and Caleb Belter, into an empty net, scored for Prince George (6-7-1). Chase Witala and Troy Bourke each picked up two assists.

Brendan Kichton and Mike Aviani replied for Spokane (9-4-0).

Eric Williams made 31 saves in defeat.

Prince George finished the night 0-for-4 on the power play, while Spokane was 1-for-2 with the man advantage.

I've been getting frustrated lately, and the only thing keeping me sane was the team winning and other people stepping up and scoring. Then you just kind of let it go and realize you can end the series with one shot, that frustration goes away for a brief moment, and that's what happened.
