LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Macoy Erkamps and Brady Ramsay each scored and added two assists Wednesday as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-1 in the Western Hockey League.

Daniel Johnston and Russell Maxwell each added a goal and an assist for Lethbridge (4-6-0), while Jaimen Yakubowski and Jay Merkley also scored.

Ty Rimmer stopped 35 shots to get the win.

Jayce Hawryluk had the only goal for Brandon (6-4-1), which got 40 saves from Curtis Honey.

Lethbridge went 3-for-6 on the power play, while Brandon was scoreless in three chances.

I've been getting frustrated lately, and the only thing keeping me sane was the team winning and other people stepping up and scoring. Then you just kind of let it go and realize you can end the series with one shot, that frustration goes away for a brief moment, and that's what happened.
