Eric Comrie earns 24-save shutout in Americans 5-0 win over Warriors

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Eric Comrie made 24 saves to earn his second shutout of the season as the Tri-City Americans beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-0 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.

Justin Feser scored twice for the Americans (6-3-0-1), who won their third straight game.

Clint Filbrandt scored his first WHL goal while Connor Rankin and Lucas Nickles each scored once for the Americans.

The Warriors (4-4-0-1) were coming off of a 9-0 win over Prince Albert Saturday, but couldn't find their scoring touch.

A night after recording his first WHL shutout, Daniel Wapple was pulled 43 seconds into the second period. Wapple allowed three goals on 11 shots.

Justin Paulic allowed two goals off of the 11 shots he faced.
