OSHAWA, Ont. - Scott Sabourin scored three goals, including the winner, as the Oshawa Generals defeated the visiting London Knights 5-3 on Sunday night in Ontario Hockey League play.
Sabourin's winner came 6:10 into the third period and broke a 3-3 tie.
Cole Cassels had a goal and two assists while Boone Jenner scored the other for Generals (7-2-0-1), who won for the first time in three outings.
Matt Petgrave and Geoffrey Schemitsch had two assists each for the Generals.
Bo Horvat scored twice for the Knights (5-3-0-0), who had won their previous three games, and Seth Griffith chipped in with a goal and assist.
Daniel Altshuller made 32 saves for the win as Kevin Bailie stopped 35 shots in a losing effort.
Oshawa went 2-for-8 on the power play while London scored three times on 11 chances with the man advantage.
