SARNIA, Ont. - Nikolay Goldobin scored once and set up two more as the Sarnia Sting defeated the visiting Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 3-1 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Justice Dundas and Anthony DeAngelo also scored for the Sting (5-3-1), who have won four straight contests, while Craig Hottot and Alex Galchenyuk chipped in with two assists each.
Andrew Fritsche scored the lone goal for the Greyhounds (6-4-0), who sit one point ahead of the Sting in the West-Division standings.
JP Anderson only had to make 12 saves for the win as Justin Nichols turned away 39-of-42 shots in defeat.
Despite the loss, Nichols' performance earned him the game's first star.
Neither club could produce on the power play as they both went 0-for-2 with the man advanatge.
