WINDSOR, Ont. - Steven Shipley scored the shootout winner as the Niagara IceDogs defeated the host Windsor Spitfires 4-3 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Mitchell Theoret, Trevor Peterson and Ryan Strome scored in regulation for Niagara (6-4-1).
Kerby Rychel scored twice for Windsor (4-3-3), who lost for the third time in a shootout this season, and Josh Ho-Sang had the other.
Brent Moran made 25 saves for the win as Jordan DeKort turned aside 34 shots in a losing effort.
Niagara went 1-for-5 on the power play while Windsor scored twice on seven chances with the man advantage.
