Rattie with five points as the Winterhawks down the Broncos 6-3

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Ty Rattie scored four goals and assisted on another to lift the Portland Winterhawks to a 6-3 win over the host Swift Current Broncos on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Rattie now has seven goals and 12 points over his last 10 games.

Nicolas Petan had a goal and two assists for the Winterhawks (7-3-1), while Chase De Leo, Taylor Leier and Derrick Pouliot chipped in with two assists each.

Portland also had a goal from Oliver Bjorkstrand.

Adam Lowry had two goals and an assist for the Broncos (4-2-4) and now has a team-leading 15 points in 10 games.

Coda Gordon had a goal and two assists to round out Swift Current's offence.

Brendan Burke made 28 saves for the win as Landon Bow took the loss in goal, giving up six goals on 33 shots.

Portland went 3-for-4 on the power play while Swift Current went 1-for-4.

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
