BARRIE, Ont. - Mathias Niederberger made 33 saves as the Barrie Colts edged the visiting Sudbury Wolves 2-1 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday night.
Andreas Athanasiou and Erik Bradford scored for the Colts (8-2-0), who have now won seven games in a row, while Aaron Ekblad and Josh MacDonald each chipped in with a pair of assists.
Barrie forward Anthony Camara failed to score a goal for the first time in six outings.
Nathan Pancel replied for the Wolves (5-5-0), who had won its previous three road contests coming into Saturday's game.
Joel Vienneau turned aside 37 shots in a losing cause.
Barrie went 1-for-6 on the power play while Sudbury ended the night at 1-for-5.
