Jake Cardwell potent on Ottawa 67's power play in 4-3 win over Niagara IceDogs

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Jake Cardwell's power-play goal, his second of the game gave the Ottawa 67's a 4-3 victory over the Niagara IceDogs in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.

Steven Janes, and Tyler Graovac had the other Ottawa (2-5-0) goals.

Luke Mercer on the power play, Mitchell Theoret and Mike Robinson responded for Niagara (5-4-0), which trailed this game 3-1 after 40 minutes. The IceDogs rallied to tie things at three 5:32 into the third period.

Keegan Wilson picked up his first win of the season for the 67's, making 32 stops.

Chris Festarini turned aside 21 shots for Niagara, which suffered their third straight loss.

Ottawa went 2-for-5 on the power play. Niagara was 1-for-5 with the man advantage.
