Tim Bozon, Brendan Ranford lead Kamloops Blazers over Victoria Royals

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Tim Bozon and Brendan Ranford each had a goal and an assist Wednesday as the Kamloops Blazers defeated the Victoria Royals 5-2 in the Western Hockey League

JC Lipon, Colin Smith and Cole Ully also scored for Kamloops (6-0-1), while Dylan Willick picked up two assists.

Jamie Crooks and Taylor Crunk replied for Victoria (6-3-0), which trailed 1-0 and 3-0 at the breaks.

Kamloops goaltender Cole Cheveldave stopped 25 shots, while Partik Polivka and Coleman Vollrath of the Royals combined for 26 saves.

Kamloops was 0-for-3 on the power play, while Victoria finished 1-for-6.
