EVERETT, Wash. - Justin Feser and Brian Williams each had a goal and an assist, leading the Tri-City Americans to a 5-3 victory over the Everett Silvertips on Sunday night in Western Hockey League play.
Parker Bowles and Beau McCue also scored for Tri-City (4-3-1), which took seven of a possible eight points from its stretch of four games in five nights. Eric Comrie earned the win in goal with 19 saves.
Kohl Bauml and Ryan Harrison each had a goal and an assist to lead Everett (1-5-0-1), while Trent Lofthouse also scored.
Tri-City built a 4-0 lead through the first 27 minutes of the game, then withstood a late Everett comeback.
The Silvertips pulled within one with 3:28 remaining and had chances to tie it before Zachary Yuen scored into an empty net with one-tenth of a second remaining to seal it.
Cole Holowenko stopped 12 of 16 shots in goal for the Silvertips before being pulled early in the second period.
Daniel Cotton, acquired from Seattle earlier in the day to serve as the emergency back-up with No. 1 Austin Lotz out injured, stopped all 14 shots he saw in relief.
