SPOKANE, Wash. - Eric Williams stopped 27 shots and earned the game's first star as the Spokane Chiefs downed the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.
Todd Fiddler, Tanner Mort and Collin Valcourt each had a goal and an assist for the Chiefs (3-1-0) while Mitch Holmberg scored a single goal.
Jaimen Yakubowski scored once for the Hurricanes (2-3-0) and picked up an assist on Remi Laurencelle's goal.
Ty Rimmer turned away 39 shots and earned the game's second star in a losing effort.
Spokane went 2-for-4 on the power play while Lethbridge failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
