KAMLOOPS, B.C. - JC Lipon scored twice as the Kamloops Blazers defeated the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers 4-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.
Tim Bozon had a goal and two assists for the Blazers (5-0-1) and Colin Smith chipped in with three assists.
Jordan Thomson added a single goal to round out Kamloops' offence.
Miles Koules replied for the Tigers (3-3-1), who went 1-2-0 on a three-game swing through the B.C. Division.
Cole Cheveldave stopped 21 shots for the win as Dawson MacAuley turned aside 33 shots in a losing effort.
Kamloops went 1-for-2 on the power play while Medicine Hat failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
