Sheifele scores winner as the Colts edge the Petes 4-3

BARRIE, Ont. - Mark Scheifele scored the game winner with 38.6 seconds left in regulation time as the Barrie Colts edged the visiting Peterborough Petes 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday night.

Andreas Athanasiou, Josh MacDonald and Anthony Camara all picked up a goal and an assist for Barrie (5-2-0).

Camara, a Boston Bruins' prospect, scored his league-leading fifth power-play goal in the win.

Steven Trojanovic, Francis Menard and Eric Cornel scored for Peterborough (1-5-0), which lost its fourth game in a row.

For Cornel, it was his first career OHL goal.

Alex Fotinos made 35 saves for the win while Peterborough's Andrew D'Agostini turned aside 34 shots in defeat.

Barrie frequently took advantage of Peterborough's 20th-ranked penalty kill, as the Colts went 3-for-5 on the power play. The Petes finished the night 0-for-2.
