PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Stefan Noesen scored twice as the Plymouth Whalers defeated the Niagara IceDogs 6-3 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.
Alex Aleardi, Cody Payne, Matt Mistele and Garrett Meurs each had a goal and an assist for the Whalers (2-1-2) while Tom Wilson chipped in with two assists.
Ryan Strome, Carter Verhaeghe and Dougie Hamilton scored for the IceDogs (5-2-0).
Plymouth rookie Riley Corbin earned his first OHL win in goal with a 27-save outing as Brent Moran stopped 29 shots in defeat.
Plymouth went 0-for-2 on the power play while Niagara went 0-for-4.
