Scheifele scores winner as the Colts edge the Steelheads 4-3 in a shootout

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Mark Scheifele scored the shootout winner and added two assists in regulation to lead the Barrie Colts to a 4-3 victory over the Mississauga Steelheads in Friday night's Ontario Hockey League contest at the Hershey Centre.

Anthony Camara recorded a goal and an assist while Andreas Athanasiou and Steven Beyers also scored for the Colts (4-2-0), who stretched their winning streak to three games.

Riley Brace scored twice and added an assist for the Steelheads (2-3-1) while Dylan Smoskowitz, who was acquired in a trade with the Colts on Thursday, scored a single goal.

Mississauga's Dylan DeMelo and Josh Burnside contributed with two assists each.

Mathias Niederberger stopped 28 shots for the Colts while Clint Windsor turned aside 24 shots for the Steelheads.

Barrie finished 1-for-2 on the power play while Mississauga went 2-for-7.
