Bartosak stops 32 shots as the Rebels down the Blades 5-3

SASKATOON - Patrik Bartosak stopped 32-of-35 shots as the Red Deer Rebels defeated the host Saskatoon Blades 5-3 on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.

Brandon Underwood, Cory Millette, Joel Hamilton, Tyson Ness and Matt Dumba all scored for the Rebels (2-3-1), who have picked up at least one point in each of their last three games after starting the season with back-to-back losses, while Matt Bellerive chipped in with three assists.

Darren Dietz, Dalton Thrower and Nick Zajac each had a goal for the Blades (2-3-0), who have dropped three of their last four contests.

Andrey Makorov made 24 saves in a losing effort for Saskatoon.

Red Deer went 2-for-8 on the power play while Saskatoon scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
