OSHAWA, Ont. - Tyler Biggs scored twice and set up one more as the Oshawa Generals defeated the visiting Brampton Battalion 7-4 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Oshawa squandered an early 3-0 lead, but outscored Brampton 4-1 in the third period to complete a perfect three-game weekend.

Boone Jenner also had two goals and an assist for the Generals (4-1-0) and now leads the OHL with seven goals and 12 points in five games.

Lucas Lessio scored twice and Bradley Latour added a single goal to round out Oshawa's offence.

Barclay Goodrow led the Battalion (1-2-1) offensively with two goals while Blake Clarke and Matthew Santos scored a goal apiece.

Oshawa's Daniel Altshuller stopped 29 shots for the victory as Brampton's Matej Machovsky allowed three goals on seven shots before getting pulled at the 8:32 mark of the first period.

Jake Smith picked up the loss after stopping 14-of-18 shots in relief.

Oshawa went 2-for-5 on the power play while Brampton went 3-for-7.

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
