Bell with three points as the Rockets down the Winterhawks 4-3

PORTLAND, Ore. - Myles Bell scored twice and set up one more as the Kelowna Rockets downed the host Portland Winterhawks 4-3 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Jordan Cooke earned the game's first star after stopping 43-of-46 shots for the victory.

Riley Stadel and Zach Franko also scored for the Rockets (1-2-1) while Colton Sissons and Dylen McKinlay each had two assists.

Brendan Leipsic led the Winterhawks (3-2-0) offensively with two goals and Tyler Wotherspoon added a single goal.

Brendan Burke made 20 saves in a losing effort.

Kelowna failed to score on its only power-play opportunity while Portland went 2-for-8.
