Pacioretty, 23, led the Canadiens last season with 65 points and was second with 33 goals. He also won the 2012 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy for his comeback from a broken vertebra in his neck and a concussion in March 2011.
He's only 17 but he can see the ice so well and he moves the puck and goes to the open ice all the time, so I just think he's a player that is ready to play in the NHL. I'm really looking forward to coaching someone like this.
