EVERETT, Wash. - Brett Zarowny stopped all 25 shots he faced to lead the Prince George Cougars to a 6-0 victory over the host Everett Silvertips on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action

Colin Jacobs had two goals and three assists for the Cougars (1-0-0) and Chase Witala, Alex Forsberg, Caleb Belter and Brock Hirsche added the others.

Everett goaltender Austin Lotz stopped 18 of the 23 shots he faced in the first two periods before giving way to Cole Holowenko. Holowenko turned aside nine-of-10 shots in relief.

Prince George went 1 for 8 on the power play while Everett failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.

Quote of the Day

I would definitely love to play with him. He's a skilled player and over the years he definitely has shown that he can score a lot of goals. I think it would work out well.
